Fresh from recent SOLD‑OUT headline shows, LPMC storms into 2026 with anticipation sky‑high for the second instalment of his upcoming album Lonely Boy Bar, after part one — released in September 2024 as a limited, signed, hand‑numbered yellow vinyl — sparked a wave of critical praise and fan excitement.
LPMC is the creative force of Lee McMahon, former frontman and songwriter of South Yorkshire favourites The Tivoli. Since launching his solo project in 2022 with the acclaimed debut Providence — home to terrace anthem Good Times Are Coming, the explosive Amsterdam Sam and the timeless Main Street — McMahon has earned a reputation as one of the region’s standout songwriters. Music press and radio have hailed his work as “masterful,” praising his bold imagery, powerhouse vocals and unstoppable melodic hooks. BBC Introducing has been championing him from the start.
Rooted in working‑class hertiage, stories of hometown heroes and the spirit of the underdog, McMahon’s writing now carries a sharper, more seasoned edge. His urban hymns hit harder, shine brighter and resonate deeper than ever before.
IIn the studio he records, arranges and co‑produces every track, but on stage LPMC arrives armed with his full five‑piece band, ready to unleash a high‑energy, anthemic blast of alternative indie rock built to ignite any crowd. Expect passion. Expect power. Expect a performance people will still be talking about long after the lights go down.
