LPMC ANNOUNCES HIS FIRST HOMETOWN BAND SHOW TO PROMOTE BRAND NEW EP LAUNCH at Chantry Brewery Bar & Tap on Friday 20th September. It comes in the wake of the euphoric, soldout, return to the stage for his1st full band show at Gorilla Beer Hall, Mexborough back in May!

The former 'Tivoli' frontman and chief songsmith re-entered the fray after some considerable time 'on the bench' in July '22 with his debut album, 'Providence', which rendered popular and critical acclaim. The album spawned hits including 'Good Times Are Coming', 'Jenny', 'Amsterdam Sam' and 'Main Street'.

McMahon's long standing love story with his birthplace is still burning strong. The heartwarming video for Main Street was filmed across the town centre, and the town itself provides the romance for much of his storytelling and song writing influences, exemplified by none other than an updated version of 'Drop Me Off In Rotherham', which is fast becoming a new anthem for the town.

LPMC has already been championed by BBC Introducing, BBC Sounds and pockets of the music press. He is proving an exciting prospect amongst a fanbase that continues to grow and continues to gain traction with his collection of post-industrial, working class, hometown vignettes.

The show will support the release of his first vinyl EP, entitled 'Lonely Boy', which is a precursor to a second album, 'The Lonely Boy Bar' due for release in 2025.
